"Deck the halls with boughs of holly"…. and lots of mistletoe! It seems more and more people are
seeking that 'special someone' as we see the demand for coaching increase dramatically. Once upon a
time coaching was restricted to senior individuals, however people at every level are now benefitting
and improving their performance. We are frequently asked to supply coaches for first line managers
and critical players, whose importance may belie their position in the organisation.
The challenge for many companies is keeping track of who is coaching inside their organisation, what
the coaches' track records or qualifications are, whether they have relevant sector or industry
experience and ultimately whether they are adding significant value. This is an uncomfortable position
to be in, but fear not, help is at hand.
Vybrant has been asked by several different clients in 2007 if we can help them untangle the way
they provide coaching. Fortunately we have the tools, the people and the means to do exactly that.
So the Vybrant Coaching Audit team is keeping busy - helping clients log who is coaching whom; who is
keeping a record of the progress of each assignment; how coaching is being measured and providing real
results.
2008 will see us taking on all the coaching administration for one of our major clients and managing
all the coaching assignments, regardless of any particular coach's affiliation. More value added from
